Establishing IT Security as a full engineering discipline



Based on the results of the EU-funded project SERENITY, SERENITY Forum provides a radically new approach of Security Engineering through a wide set of security patterns and integration schemes.

The starting point of this iniative is the SERENITY Day held on June 17th, 2009, in Brussels, Belgium. Beyond the showcase of SERENITY’s results, researchers and research organizations in the IT security field are joining for the creation of a “Security Engineering Manifesto”.

This web portal aims to:

• support security experts, security engineers, application developers and system administrators in their daily tasks by providing methods, open source tools, Users Forum…
• build a “Security Engineering Community“

Through its community, the Forum has already gathered a large number of organisations and individuals supporting its objectives, providing feedback and contributing to build the SERENITY Forum. Join us!
